CP-Remote is a Remote Monitoring and Control System for operating Cathodic Protection Rectifiers. The System integrates precision control, automated testing, and remote monitoring into a single industrial strength package.
The CP-Remote System provides the monitoring of key rectifier parameters such as Amps, Volts, Reference Cell Voltages, instant off and on of cycle readings and more.
Electrically isolated I/O channels provide the capability to read and control virtually any analog or digital signal. The modular design can accommodate thousands of I/O channels.
A CP-Remote System provides synchronized control of rectifiers over vast geographical locations. Analog inputs directly control rectifier on/off cycles via relay outputs. The system provides for daily time schedules with user-selected times for on/off cycle scheduling.
The system clock is synchronized with a highly accurate GPS antenna to provide rectifier interruption and control of multiple units within +/- 1 millisecond accuracy.
Local and remote electronic data recording of system variables is provided. Over 16Mbytes of battery-backed RAM is available for local data storage.
Status and alarm notification can be programmed by the user to generate a message for events such as power loss, structure-to-soil potential out of range, current out of range, and more.
Battery-backed communication options allow for alarm notification of rectifier operation even with loss of site power. Email, fax, and alphanumeric pager notification are available.
Internet and network-based communications options provide simple enterprise integration including Ethernet. Wireless communications options include cell, radio, and satellite. Telephone line connections are supported.
CP-View software provides a graphical view of remote sites, alarm summary displays, real-time and historical trending of rectifier data, and flexible data recording for report generation. CP-View also supports direct connection to relational/SQL databases.
Industrial NEMA4 standard enclosures are available to meet the toughest environmental conditions. An optional 19" rack mount unit with visible status/alarm annunciation is also available.
The open system design results in a cost-effective solution while offering the user the option of customizing the system.
The standard configuration has been designed to operate two complete charging rectifier systems. The modular I/O system design allows for additional expansion if required.
